Mt. Gox Creditors Begin Receiving Crypto Repayments via Bitstamp on July 25 đ°
After a decade, Mt. Gox creditors will receive their crypto assets worth much more than when the exchange #collapsed .
Starting July 25, #Bitstamp will distribute crypto after receiving 5,106 BTC, Bitcoin Cash, and Ether from Mt. Gox trustees. Recipients will undergo a week-long security check before gaining full control of their coins.
UK Bitstamp customers will be excluded from the first round but will receive repayments in the coming months. The price of BTC has #surged over 10,000% since Mt. Gox's collapse in 2014. Concerns about market impact from mass selloffs appear unfounded.
