According to U.Today, analytics platform Santiment reports that XRP and Litecoin (LTC) are currently experiencing heightened levels of fear of missing out (FOMO). Santiment has noted that these cryptocurrencies are emerging as 'high-risk high-reward investments.' The firm stated, 'These coins can continue to rise, but the crowd's euphoria toward these assets could make them high-risk, high-reward investments this week.'

XRP and LTC have seen price increases of 2.9% and 2.6%, respectively, over the last 24 hours, according to CoinGecko data. FOMO, a psychological phenomenon that has garnered scholarly attention over the past two decades, refers to the fear of missing out on potentially significant gains. This phenomenon is characterized by a pervasive apprehension that others might be enjoying significant success with their investments. Social media platforms have become a significant source of FOMO, with users frequently exposed to hot investment opportunities in cryptocurrencies by influencers.

Morgan Housel, the award-winning author of 'The Psychology of Money,' recently emphasized the importance of controlling FOMO, describing it as one of the most crucial financial skills. Meanwhile, Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency, has recently surpassed the $65,000 level for the first time in weeks. The Fear & Greed Index now indicates 'greed' with a score of 65 out of 100 points, showing a significant improvement in market sentiment. Just days ago, the index was still in 'fear' territory.
