A friend recently approached me, inspired by my daily profits, saying, "I'm thinking about investing all my earnings from my job into crypto!" This is a dangerous mistake and a surefire way to deplete your hard-earned money, leaving you without any savings.
Diversifying your investments by allocating a portion of your income to crypto and stocks is prudent. However, never commit all or even most of your earnings to crypto. The cryptocurrency market is extremely volatile. While it offers the potential for high returns, it also carries significant risk. Investing most of your income in crypto can lead to impulsive decisions and financial hardship.
During the last bull market, I witnessed many individuals over-invest in crypto, only to lose between 3 to 12 months' salary. They often sold at the worst times and bought at the highest prices. To avoid a similar fate, maintain a cautious and balanced investment strategy.
Some people may argue that crypto is invincible and overlook long-term risks. Do not succumb to this mindset. Instead, invest wisely, take profits when appropriate, and exit the market at the right time. You will be grateful when the next market cycle arrives.
