Coinspeaker JOGOJOGO Debut on Sonic to Pioneer Blink Implementation on Atomic SVM

Jogojogo, a prediction market built on Solana has unveiled its first implementation of Blink on atomic SVM through its debut on Sonic. Jogojogo in collaboration with Blink is bringing a thrilling Euro 2024 prediction market to football fans and crypto enthusiasts.

Euro 2024 Prediction Made Easy

The launch of Jogojogo’s beta platform on the Sonic testnet is centered around the theme of the UEFA Euro 2024 tournament. Beginning from July 7 to July 15, users of Jogojogo can predict the champion team in the Euro 2024 tournament and win from a prize pool of $10,000.

Jogojogo is Solana’s AI-powered predictions marketplace, where everyone’s opinion is valued. The initiative is designed to enable anyone to place a bet on any amount on any topic while earning rewards in return.

With the deployment of Jogojogo’s beta platform on Sonic testnet, users can enjoy football matches from the UEFA Euro 2024. At the same time, the platform allows them to predict the winners of each game by creating or joining clubs and placing wagers. This is all at no cost to the user.

In addition to the $10,000 prize pool from the Jogojogo team, participants who correctly predict winners will also receive 100,000 Sonic Oddyssey Rings. Users can bet on their favorite team with as little as 0.01 SOL on Jogojogo.

Jogojogo’s collaboration with Blink makes the game more interesting. For context, Blink is a newly introduced feature developed by the Solana Foundation in partnership with the Solana development shop Dialect. Short for “blockchain link”, Blinks are shareable URLs that provide a user interface for Solana transactions. A simplified interface appears when a user clicks on a Blink link, allowing for a specified activity on the Solana blockchain.

A Growing Solana Ecosystem

Jogojogo was able to deploy Blink on Solana by leveraging Sonic HyperGrid. As a result, users can share their Jogojogo Euro Cup 2024 predictions on social media with just a click.

HyperGrid is created to introduce customizability and scale while remaining natively composable to Solana. Sonic is the first atomic SVM chain built to enable sovereign game economies on Solana. While Jogojogo is one of the first implementations on this tech stack, it is paving the way for more integrations in the future.

Jogojogo has also collaborated with the Sonic team on their new testnet campaign Odyssey. This alliance resulted in Jogojogo seeing increased traction of 100,000 users playing its games within 14 days.

Solana’s interaction with the sports industry through Jogojogo demonstrates its growing recognition in the crypto and traditional industries. Solana’s native digital asset SOL, now ranks as the fifth-largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization.

In a related development, Solana has released a new meme coin called Pandiana. Unlike other memecoin, Pandiana integrates its theme and functionality into a move-to-earn gaming platform. This permits players to earn rewards in PNDA tokens by engaging with the game.
