SOMETIMES MENTAL HEALTH IS CRUCIAL THAN MONEY đŸ’” Please read đŸ‘‡đŸŸ

“Losing my job was one of the best things that happened to me in 2020.

Work was unfulfilling. So was my paycheck.

I took all the heat at the front desk: both from angry customers & management.

You’d expect that after all that stress I’d get my tiny paycheck on time. No! I got to be owed 2 months+ of unpaid wages with demeaning remarks.

Not too many workers on here are willing to talk about their unsavory experiences with abusive employers.

Yeah, because nobody wants to be seen talking bad of their previous workplace 🙄

Yeah sure. No bad PR.

But let’s face it
 some workplaces are hell. Literally!!!

I hoped to get a "better-paying job" & settle in Abuja. But I couldn’t afford to pay N60k/year for a small room and thats how I got evicted.

I had to relocate from Abuja against my will.

I left with only a few clothes, and the rest of my belongings were shared among my kind neighbors because I couldn’t afford the cost of transporting them back.

This
 was my rock-bottom experience.

3 years+ later..

I came back to Abuja for business! 😁

I received an all-expense-paid trip to visit a company I consult for in Abuja. As I drove around town, exploring the best places (which I couldn't do before), I couldn't help but remember how impossible this seemed just a few years ago.

I don't know where you are right now..

But don't you dare give up!

You lost a job?

Look outside the job space — monetize your presence online.

Don’t get stuck trying to beat a dead horse to run. If one door closes many more opens.

You’re capable of so much more than you think.

Soon your present battles will become your “inspiring” throwback stories tomorrow.”
