Coinspeaker Notcoin Set to Launch Telegram Gaming Accelerator for Game Developers

Telegram-based game Notcoin (NOT) has entered a strategic partnership with prominent analytics firm Helika. The focus of the collaboration is to develop an incubator for the next wave of Telegram games. Noteworthy, this is part of Notcoin’s biggest moves yet to transcend from being a viral sensation into a pillar of the exploding ecosystem of crypto-backed mini-apps.

Notcoin and Helika to Build on Telegram Popularity

With the Telegram Gaming Accelerator, the project is looking to expand the mini meta. This represents Telegram mini apps that were initially introduced by Notcoin. The collaboration will leverage the success of Helika Accelerate backed by $50 million in funding. In the long run, the accelerator program will benefit game studios, mobile apps, and indie developers.

Once they get on board the program, these entities can build great gaming experiences on top of the Telegram platform and TON blockchain. According to Helika co-founder and CEO Anton Umnov, supporting current and future users on Telegram marks a significant milestone for the company. The initiative reflects the dedication of the AI-driven analytics powerhouse to boost gaming studios.

“Helika sees a massive opportunity for game studios of all sizes to capitalize on global user acquisition and engage with their users at a deeper level,” Umnov stated.

Before this time, Notcoin operated on a simple but seductive roadmap of gaming that enticed the massive Telegram user base. With the Telegram Gaming Accelerator, developers of such games are likely to gain the attention of more users while rewarding them with real crypto token airdrops. It is worth noting that Notcoin is the first to adopt such a strategy and it has contributed to the explosive $2 billion market capitalization of the project.

Along the line, many other Telegram-based projects have equally adopted the approach. Last month, Notcoin saw a meteoric rise of 275% within one week. The surge brought the coin to an All-Time High (ATH) of $0.027 at the time.

At the time of this writing, NOT was trading at $0.01186 with a drop of 8.99% in the last 24 hours.

Hamster Kombat Meteoric Rise Gives Iran Concerns

Other Telegram-based projects have been thriving significantly. Last week, the crypto-powered pet battle game Hamster Kombat hit a milestone of 200 million users. This was barely three weeks after announcing and celebrating 100 million users on its platform. The short-time surge demonstrated growing traction and a rise in interest in the game particularly in different developing countries.

On the other hand, the Iranian government is concerned about the significant growth of these Telegram-based gaming platforms. The Iranian government is visibly displeased by the popularity that the Hamster Kombat project is gaining in its region. Associated Press noted that members of the government perceive the game as an undue Western influence especially with the country currently struggling with high inflation, few jobs, and growing sanctions.

Iran’s deputy military chief Rear Adm Habibollah Sayyari clearly stated that “one of the features of the soft war by the enemy is the ‘Hamster’ game”.
