US Dallas Fed survey indicates strong employment; upcoming Fed surveys and PMIs anticipated.🙂
US had a data-light day, though the Dallas Fed survey did show a strong employment round to 13.6, with 91% of firms reporting the same or higher employment levels than before, along with a similar bump higher in the hours worked index. We will begin to see a slew of Fed surveys and PMIs from next week, and will be keeping our eyes peeled on whether this labour strength is a precursor to strong September NFP against concerns of the impending government shutdown.
