How to Claim the Airdrop

The MEMEFI token will launch on Friday, November 22, at 8 am ET (1 pm UTC). The airdrop can be claimed through the centralized exchange OKX, which has partnered exclusively with MemeFi for the distribution. While other exchanges like Binance, Bybit, and KuCoin will list the token, they will not handle the airdrop claims.

For those who prefer not to use a centralized exchange, the airdrop can be claimed using a self-custody wallet, starting one hour before the token generation event (TGE). MemeFi will cover gas fees, but users will likely pay a claim fee from their own airdrop allocations.

What Can You Do with the Token?

Once launched, the MEMEFI token will function like any standard crypto token, allowing buying and selling. However, its exact launch price remains uncertain, with traders speculating it will be around $0.012 on KuCoin’s pre-market or $0.016 on Gate.io. These predictions are speculative and should be taken with caution.

Beyond trading, the MEMEFI token will also serve as a governance token and be used for in-game purchases, though further details are still pending.

The Role of “MemeFi Stars”

While the exact role of MemeFi Stars remains unclear, the game has indicated that this asset will be crucial to the game’s economy. Players can earn Stars, and it seems that they will play a key role in future game seasons. Although the whitepaper doesn't elaborate on Stars, they are expected to be integral in upcoming updates.

What’s Next for MemeFi?

MemeFi’s roadmap currently extends only through Q4 2024, and it hints at “exciting new directions” for the project beyond a second season of gameplay. However, the specific plans for the future of MemeFi, including new features or mechanics, are yet to be revealed.
