🚨Rocket fired into Israel, Palestinian fighters employ mortars, IEDs in Jabalia: Monitors🚨

Rockets from Gaza continue to strike Israel, with the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades launching one towards the Israeli city of Sderot, according to military analysts.

This rocket was fired from northern Gaza on Friday, where Israeli forces have been conducting a weeklong ground operation aimed at dismantling Palestinian armed resistance, as reported by US-based think tanks, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) and the Critical Threats Project (CTP).

The latest joint report from ISW-CTP highlights that fighters from Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, the National Resistance Brigades, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, and the Popular Resistance Committee carried out mortar attacks in Jabalia on Friday.

Additionally, the Palestinian Mujahideen Brigades deployed an improvised explosive device (IED) targeting a tank in the Jabalia refugee camp, while Hamas fighters used rocket-propelled grenades and IEDs against Israeli armor in Beit Lahiya, north of Jabalia.

One Israeli soldier was reported killed in southern Gaza on Friday, according to the monitors.
