Vào ngày 22/05, nền tảng AMM DEX hàng đầu trên hệ sinh thái Sui là Cetus Protocol đã bị tin tặc tấn công, bòn rút toàn bộ thanh khoản trong nhiều pool giao dịch, khiến giá nhiều token lao dốc 80-90% chỉ trong thời gian ngắn. Theo ước tính, vụ hack đã để lại thiệt hại lên đến 223 triệu USD, với khoảng 60 triệu USD đã bị thất thoát sang Ethereum và khó có thể được khôi phục, trong khi 160 triệu USD còn lại đang tạm thời bị phong tỏa trên Sui.
