Binance is set to phase out all support for BIDR (Indonesian Rupiah stablecoin) as part of our ongoing effort to refine and optimize our service offerings. Please review the following key dates and required actions for managing your BIDR holdings:
Important Dates and Actions:
- Final Deposits and Withdrawals: Support for BIDR will continue until August 19, 2024, 23:59 UTC.
- Automatic Conversion to FDUSD: On August 20, 2024, starting at 08:00 UTC, any BIDR balances remaining in user accounts will automatically convert to FDUSD, based on the real-time exchange rate.
Detailed Timeline of Changes:
- Spot Trading Ends: All BIDR trading pairs will be removed on May 17, 2024, at 03:00 UTC. Concurrently, all related open orders will be automatically canceled.
- Margin Trading Changes: Borrowing for USDT/BIDR pairs will be suspended on May 7, 2024, at 06:00 UTC, with automatic closure and settlement of all positions on May 10, 2024, at 06:00 UTC.
- Service Adjustments:
- Convert and Pay: Delisting of BIDR from Binance Convert and Binance Pay on May 13, 2024.
- Auto-Invest and Earn: BIDR will be removed from Auto-Invest on May 11, 2024, and from Binance Simple Earn on May 14, 2024.
- P2P and Gift Card: All BIDR trading pairs and BIDR options in Binance Gift Card will be discontinued on May 16 and 17, 2024, respectively.
Recommended Actions:
- Convert or Trade BIDR: We encourage users to either convert their BIDR to other cryptocurrencies via Binance Convert or trade them for other assets before the delisting dates.
- Manage Margin Positions: Users should proactively manage and close any BIDR margin positions to avoid automatic closures and potential losses.
Conversion Process:
Post-deadline, any remaining BIDR in Spot and Funding wallets will be converted to FDUSD. This conversion may take up to 24 hours, with the resultant FDUSD being credited directly to users' Spot wallets.
Additional Information:
- Tokocrypto Transfers: The option to transfer BIDR to Tokocrypto will remain open until further notice.
- Minimum Receipts: Holders of minimal BIDR amounts will receive a base amount of 0.00000001 FDUSD post-conversion.
