Trump: I will not allow the creation of a central bank digital currency in the United States
Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, has strengthened his stance in support of the digital currency industry. In his recent speech at the National Libertarian Summit in Washington, D.C., he pledged to support the self-government of 50 million digital currency holders in the United States if re-elected as president. The former president of the United States added that under his presidency, the digital currency industry and Bitcoin will flourish inside the United States and he will not let this happen outside the borders of the United States. Trump also promised to oppose the creation of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) and to block the involvement of Elizabeth Warren, a prominent Democratic senator, and other critics of digital assets.
