According to Odaily, French blockchain securities trading platform Kriptown has announced the completion of a €4.2 million Series A funding round. The round was led by BNP Paribas, Bpifrance, and Centilux Family Office, with BNP Paribas and Bpifrance becoming shareholders in the company. The newly acquired funds will be utilized to establish a European securities exchange specifically for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) under the European DLT pilot regime. This initiative aims to create financial markets based on blockchain technology.

Additionally, Kriptown has officially submitted an application for a DLT TSS (Trading and Settlement System) license to the French Prudential Supervision and Resolution Authority (ACPR) under the European DLT pilot regime.
