Last night, we attended 'The Future of Payments', hosted by Women in #Web3 Hong Kong and supported by companies including First Digital, #GAIA Labs, and #OffChain.

The event featured an insightful fireside chat with the Senior Director at #Ripple, followerd by a panel discussion with professionals from First Digital, Animoca Brands and #Tokenis3. ✅

In the fireside chat, the gender disparity in crypto was discussed, emphasing how it's crucial to foster inclusion in the space. Especially as the #Web3 space itself is also relatively new, interested candidates should not be too concerned about being a #blockchain expert but rather have an inquisitive mind and be able to ask the right questions in the project they're a part of. 🌐

Innovations in the payment and stablecoin space was highlighted in the panel discussion; the future of #crypto payments is tied in to interoperability, regulatory environments across the globe and fostering meaningful partnerships to drive more user adoption. 📈

Just last week, we attended the 'Web3 Harbour SMART CONTACT Turns One; BLOCKTOBER Launch Party' event by @web3harbour in #HongKong. 🇭🇰

It was a great congregation of BUIDLers in the space, with Animoca present for a short sharing session, some key insights from the @Memeland CEO on application #layers, and even support from the #government sector with #InvestHK present at the event.

Counting down towards an exciting #Blocktober, there are definitely many more events and happenings coming up - it's fantastic to see how far the #web3 and #digitalassets ecosystem has come! 🎉

We are thrilled to be able to attend an event hosted by @chainlink yesterday in Hong Kong, 'Creating Value Through Tokenization: RWA in Focus'.

The event was a great opportunity to gain some insights particularly in the #RWA space as the panel and fireside session explored the transformative potential of #tokenization in the space. 🌐

The panel and fireside sessions consisted of experts from #DigiFT, #Hashkey, #Mantra and more.

One of our biggest takeaways was the need for the #ecosystem to adopt an open-minded approach in overcoming hurdles especially posed by established bodies in the RWA sector; game-changing opportunities to increase market liquidity through a 24/7 operating model was also discussed in the session. 📈
