May 2024 has been an eventful and exhilarating month for FIO Protocol! From attending major blockchain events to celebrating Bitcoin Pizza Day, we were busy making strides in the Web3 space and fostering our vibrant community. Here’s a rundown of what happened this month:
The FIO Team made a significant impact at Consensus 2024 in Austin, Texas. Wayne Marcel, Micah Dominguez, Emily Mader, and Gil Huh represented FIO at the world’s largest and most influential gathering for the cryptocurrency, blockchain, and Web3 community. This was a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry leaders and showcase our innovative solutions. We also hosted a successful side event, “The Future of Tech: OnTrend OnChain,” on May 29th. The event brought together pioneers driving technological innovation, featuring insightful discussions and networking opportunities. Attendees had the chance to win $1000 worth of crypto in collaboration with Edge, making the event even more exciting.
Our exclusive AMA session with Magic Square was another highlight of the month. It offered a deep dive into the FIO Protocol, allowing participants to get their questions answered in real-time. The top six questions each won 500 $FIO tokens, adding an extra layer of excitement to the session.
In May, we announced our partnership with SKALE Network, the world’s fastest blockchain network. This collaboration aims to simplify blockchain usability, breaking down barriers and enhancing the user experience. Together, FIO and SKALE are making blockchain technology more accessible and seamless.
The FIO community came together to celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day with a fun-filled pizza party! It was a fantastic way to honor the day that marks the first real-world transaction using Bitcoin. Our Bitcoin Pizza Day Campaign was a blast, giving away 10,000 FIO tokens to 10 lucky winners. We celebrated in style, and our community had a slice of crypto fun!
A new Crypto News Round-up by Ren was made where you could stay updated with the latest in the crypto world.
We also hosted our WAGMI Exclusive Domain Giveaway! We granted access to the @wagmi domain and gave FIO tokens from a prize pool of 5000 $FIO .
