🚨 Heads up, Ethereum fam! 🚨 Our mailing list got a bit leaky thanks to a glitch in SendPulse, the email automation service we use. Some sneaky phisher exploited this to send dodgy emails from updates@ethereum.org.

🔒 We've since locked down the mailing list, so no more leaks. But, just to be safe, don't click any links in emails from that address.

🎣 Phishing attacks are on the rise, folks. Last year, even our co-founder Vitalik Buterin's X account got hit. Scammers posted a fake NFT giveaway, and users who clicked the malicious link lost around $800K.

📱 More recently, CoinStats had a phishing attack affecting 1,590 crypto wallets, which is 1.3% of all its wallets. And the TON blockchain ecosystem is a hot target for phishers due to its explosive growth this year.
