The company's board of directors unanimously agreed to this decision, aiming to bolster their #Bitcoin holdings to hedge against economic instability and the declining value of the yen.
This move follows a previous purchase, bringing their total Bitcoin investment to over $15 million. The announcement led to a 12.2% rise in Metaplanet's stock price.
