UK-based fintech firm Revolut has announced the suspension of its cryptocurrency services in the US. The decision, which is affected by the changing regulatory environment and uncertainties in the U.S. cryptocurrency market, will take effect on September 2, 2023, after which time U.S. customers will no longer be able to purchase cryptocurrencies on the Revolut platform. Revolut will implement more comprehensive restrictions starting October 3, 2023, when U.S. customers will be completely prohibited from accessing cryptocurrencies through Revolut.
