"14 Years Ago Today, a Programmer Spent 10,000 Bitcoin on Pizza!

On May 22, 2010, Laszlo Hanyecz, a programmer from Florida, made the first-ever transaction using Bitcoin. He paid 10,000 Bitcoin for two Papa John's pizzas! This event is now celebrated as Bitcoin Pizza Day in the cryptocurrency community.

Laszlo, who was 28 at the time, posted on a Bitcoin forum that he wanted someone to bring him a pizza without having to order or prepare it himself. He offered 10,000 Bitcoin to whoever would bring him the pizzas.

This simple pizza order marked the beginning of Bitcoin's use in commercial transactions and paved the way for the cryptocurrency revolution!"
