$FLOKI FLOKI Approves Major Token Burn of 15,200,000,000 Tokens
On May 22, 2024, the Floki DAO decided to burn 15.2 billion FLOKI tokens with 99.84% support, aiming to manage supply and increase token value.
The decision came after a community proposal received overwhelming support, with 99.84% of voters supporting the burn.
This prompted the DAO to consider a proposal to return 1% of the tokens to the sender as a goodwill gesture, while destroying the remaining 99%. The move is intended to encourage other excess token holders to return and improve community token circulation standards.
