South Korean citizen Do Kwon will be detained in a reception center for foreigners until a new decision is made on his extradition, according to his lawyer Goran Rodić
He considers that the treatment given to his client today is illegal and has announced an appeal to the Administrative Court.
Earlier today, after serving his prison sentence, Do Kwon was escorted to the old police building in Podgorica, before the inspector of foreigners, under tight security.
Rodić told reporters that Do Kwon's interrogation at the Police Directorate lasted five hours and stated that the South Korean citizen should have waited for the extradition procedure and defended himself from freedom
"This morning, from nine to two in the afternoon, an illegal treatment took place in the Police Department against our client, who, according to a court decision, had to wait for the extradition process and defend himself from freedom after serving his prison sentence. today, because the court ordered the measure to confiscate his travel document. However, it seems that some order has arrived, such as the order of the previous two days for the action of the VDT and the urgent action of the Supreme Court of Montenegro in this case. , and the basis is certainly an illegal action, and according to that illegal decision today, Do Kwon will be placed in a shelter," Rodić said.
He said he will file a complaint with the Administrative Court
"But we will see in the coming days how this racism develops. We can predict some things, but unfortunately the situation in the Cnogorsk judiciary is like this," said Rodić
