Walmart Expands Pudgy Toys Supply to 1,100 US Stores.

According to PANews, Walmart, the world's largest retailer, has expanded the supply of Pudgy Toys, a toy series based on the NFT collection Pudgy Penguins, to 1,100 stores in the United States, bringing the total number of stores nationwide to 3,100. Walmart has added 30 new Pudgy toy models, including Lil Pudgys Igloo collectibles and action figures, with prices ranging from $2.99 to $11.97. Pudgy Toys first appeared in Walmart in September last year, initially in 2,000 US stores.

Pudgy Penguins CEO Luca Netz said in a statement, 'Walmart's expansion in other stores and exclusive toy products highlights the enduring appeal of Pudgy Penguins characters.' Each Pudgy toy comes with a QR code that can be used to access the multiplayer digital social platform Pudgy World, where users can build their own 'Forever Pudgy' characters, play mini-games, and interact with other users. Pudgy World is based on the Ethereum Layer2 network zkSync Era and is currently in public beta testing.
