According to BlockBeats, on August 23, @RequiemSolana highlighted on social media that Jupiter platform's JUP holders had voted in May to approve a 'Reddit Working Group' proposal. This group aimed to empower the Jupiter community and manage public relations on Reddit, with a budget of $68,000 per quarter, totaling $272,000 annually. However, after four months, the subreddit managed by the working group had only six active users, including administrators, with an average of one comment per post. This resulted in a customer acquisition cost of $11,000 per user, indicating very low engagement.

Jupiter founder Meow responded, stating that the working group had actually ceased operations and returned $45,000 of unused funds to the DAO, with an official announcement forthcoming. Meow also mentioned that the group had undertaken several interesting and meaningful initiatives during its operation.
