According to Odaily, a three-year-old boy was kidnapped in a shopping mall in Tseung Kwan O Plaza, Hong Kong, and later ransomed for 660,000 USDT. The Organized Crime and Triad Bureau (OCTB) took over the investigation. A large number of detectives were deployed on the night of July 3rd to search for the kidnappers in the shopping mall and nearby shops.

The police received a report at around 4:30 pm, stating that a three-year-old boy was forcibly taken away in the Tseung Kwan O area. The boy was successfully rescued in the Tseung Kwan O area at approximately 5:25 am the following day, and two individuals were arrested in connection with the incident.
