According to Odaily, Meta, formerly known as Facebook, is planning to bring a 'new type of gameplay' to its metaverse by combining generative artificial intelligence technology with virtual, augmented, and mixed reality games. Meta aims to use generative AI research to create new 'consumer experience' prototypes, such as games that are 'non-deterministic, personalized, and change every time they are played'.

Based on recent job postings, Meta is offering an annual salary of $347,000, plus bonuses, equity, and benefits, to experts who can help drive its AI metaverse vision. New hires will initially work in the company's metaverse construction department, Reality Labs, and will also collaborate with senior company officials. Meta has indicated that the initial focus of this position will be on Horizon, a mixed reality gaming ecosystem built on its integrated game creation system. However, the role may expand in the future to include non-Meta platforms such as mobile devices and PCs.

Another key responsibility of this position is to create tools that can accelerate content creation on the Meta platform. This move by Meta signifies its commitment to enhancing the gaming experience in its metaverse through the integration of advanced AI technology.
