According to Foresight News, Microsoft has announced a strategic investment of $1.5 billion in G42, an artificial intelligence technology company based in Abu Dhabi. As part of the collaboration, Brad Smith, Vice Chairman and President of Microsoft, will join the board of G42. G42 will utilize Microsoft's artificial intelligence computing platform, Azure, to operate its artificial intelligence applications and services.
