According to Foresight News, the Web3 Foundation, responsible for the development of Polkadot, has appointed Fabian Gompf as its new Chief Executive Officer. Gompf previously served as the Vice President of Ecosystem Development at Parity Technologies, where he was in charge of building and launching the Polkadot network.

In addition, former Web3 Foundation CEO Bertrand Perez will now serve as an advisor to the organization.
