CryptoPunk NFT Holders Offered Real-Life Art Prints

1 Minute Read!!!

CryptoPunk NFT owners now have the opportunity to acquire physical prints of their prized digital artworks. This unique opportunity arises from a partnership between Avante Art, an online art store, and Yuga Labs, the brand owner of CryptoPunks. The sale began on October 26 at 3:00 p.m. UTC and will run for 48 hours, concluding on October 28 at 3:00 p.m. UTC.

Two distinct collections are available on Avante Art. "Punk-On-Chain" allows CryptoPunk owners to commission print copies of their digital punks by proving ownership. The second collection, "10,000 On-Chain," offers print versions of all 10,000 CryptoPunks, accessible to anyone, even if they don't own the original on-chain versions.

These printed punks bear unique features. Both versions include a Yuga Labs holographic sticker for authenticity. "Punk-On-Chain" prints also feature a QR code for a blockchain-based digital Certificate of Authenticity, while "10,000 On-Chain" prints include a physical CoA with a QR code leading to the digital CoA.

CryptoPunks, created by Larva Labs in June 2017, was among the first algorithmically generated art collections distributed through blockchain. Today, CryptoPunks are highly sought after, with the lowest-priced one selling for around $78,000, and the collection's total market cap surpassing $782 million, according to Coingecko. Yuga Labs acquired the CryptoPunks copyrights in March 2022, marking a significant milestone in the NFT space.
