Alameda Research continues its weekly WLD token sell-off, depositing another 143,770 WLD ($238K) to Binance. This time, the transaction was sent from their address 0xf02e86d9e0efd57ad034faf52201b79917fe0713.
Since August 9, 2024, Alameda has been unloading tokens in small batchesâ1.417 million WLD in total, worth $2.24 million, at an average price of $1.578. The move appears to be aimed at repaying creditors.
Despite the steady sales, Alameda still holds 23.58 million WLD ($38.91 million). At their current weekly pace, it would take about 3.15 years to completely unload the remaining tokens.
The continued selling is impacting the market, with WLDâs price dropping by 13.46% in the past 24 hours, in line with broader market trends.
