We are excited to announce the launch of multisig wallet support in Tonkeeper Pro. This is a great solution for the shared management of assets, granting enhanced security to all holdings.
What is a multisig wallet?
A multisig wallet, short for a multi-signature wallet, is a cryptocurrency wallet that uses two or more individual private keys to authorize transactions. This type of wallet requires multiple participants to manage the account and requires all participants to confirm any action, for example, a transfer or exchange, providing additional protection for crypto holdings.
To transfer funds from a multisig wallet, all participants must sign the transaction together. Once the required number of signatures is collected, the transaction is authorized and can be sent to the blockchain for processing.
Additionally, Tonkeeper Pro features a user-friendly interface that allows users to select the order time, as well as Ton Connect support for connecting to any dapp and initiating transactions.
đHow to create a multisig wallet in Tonkeeper Pro:
1 Open Tonkeeper Pro and create a new wallet or choose an existing one.
2 Select "Create Multisig Wallet".
3 Add the participants who will jointly manage the wallet.
4 Set the quorum â the number of signatures required to confirm transactions.
5 Create a request for an action in the wallet so that other participants sign it.
