Here are the most important announcements made by some of the top crypto projects present at Token 2049 and Solana Breakpoint:

He emphasised that L2 transaction fees have dropped to almost zero, making Ethereum more accessible. He praised Optimism and Arbitrum for enhancing security and affordability, helping Ethereum become more user-friendly.

Previously, high transaction fees were a major barrier to adoption. For example, Buterin once paid over $800 in gas fees for a single transaction. Now, thanks to L2s, fees are under $0.01, and confirmation times have improved, with transactions being confirmed in 5 to 15 seconds.

Speaking virtually from Russia, Snowden shared concerns about the recent arrest of Telegram's founder, Pavel Durov, warning it illustrates efforts to control user data. He criticized Telegram's security, stating it's not as safe as many believe.

He urged developers to build resilient protocols to prevent government interference and reaffirmed his support for Bitcoin's privacy features.
