I’m currently shorting Bitcoin at 63k with 5x leverage. My liquidation price is at 78k, and I'm aiming for a drop to 45k. Last time, a drop to 48k wasn’t enough.
I’m not just a careless shorter—I went long from 59k to 69k before. This time, I believe Bitcoin might pump a bit due to FOMO around rate cuts, but I expect a significant crash afterwards. The exact pump height is unpredictable since it depends on human emotions, which can be irrational.
Here’s what I suggest:
1. Go short with high leverage—just be ready to get liquidated if it suddenly pumps before crashing.
2. Consider going long to catch a quick pump, using stop-loss and trailing stops, then switch to shorting after.
3. Keep shorting with a small percentage of your capital each time it pumps—this is my strategy.
4. Avoid FOMO buying; it rarely leads to good profits.
5. Don't go high leverage long out of FOMO, as it often leads to losses when the market drops.
Stay smart!
