FRIEND•TECH DEVS RENOUNCE CONTROL OF SMART CONTRACTS

Friend•Tech, the once booming Web3 social network, has been effectively shut down after its developers renounced control of the platform’s smart contracts.

The platform, which was built on the Base blockchain, saw its growth fizzle after an underwhelming airdrop and Version 2 release failed to reignite interest.

The devs have now locked the contracts, preventing further changes and essentially shelving the project.
