Retiring with Bitcoin: A 7-Year Plan
I'm working towards retiring with just 1 Bitcoin in 7 years! Here's my prediction:
- 1 Bitcoin will be worth over $200,000 (possibly more)
- $200,000 can cover 10 years of living expenses for most people, assuming:
- No mortgage
- No new cars every year
- Access to free or low-cost healthcare (outside the USA)
My retirement strategy:
- Live below your means
- Focus on contributing to society, not accumulating possessions
Bitcoin for retirement:
- 1 Bitcoin might be enough to retire (except in the USA, where healthcare costs are higher)
- Sadly, Bitcoin's rising cost might make it out of reach for many people by 2021
