以太坊創辦人 Vitalik Buterin 在社群平台上發文表示，他已經將過去一年收到的所有動物迷因幣出售，並將資金用於捐贈給慈善機構 – 有效利他主義基金（Effective Altruism Funds）底下的「動物福利基金」，總捐款金額約 53.2 萬美金。

Vitalik Buterin 在推文中寫道：

「慈善捐款已經完成，涵蓋了過去一年左右的所有動物幣！話雖如此，但如果能直接將代幣配給慈善機構，我會很感激。現在是2024年，我們可以開始進行更高級的公共物品資金募集了。」
