**News Flash: New Bitcoin Wallet Vulnerability Discovered**

Security researchers have identified a new method, dubbed "Dark Skippy," that allows hackers to extract private keys from Bitcoin hardware wallets with just two signed transactions. This vulnerability affects all hardware wallet models but requires the victim to download malicious firmware.

Previously, similar attacks needed dozens of transactions, but Dark Skippy simplifies the process. The method involves embedding portions of seed words into low entropy nonces, which are then used to sign transactions. These signatures, posted to the blockchain, can be exploited using Pollard’s Kangaroo Algorithm to reveal the seed words.

The report, published by Lloyd Fournier, Nick Farrow, and Robin Linus, urges hardware wallet manufacturers to enhance security measures like secure boot and locked interfaces. Users are advised to keep their devices secure and consider anti-exfiltration signing protocols.

Stay vigilant and ensure your hardware wallets are protected against potential threats.
