Tron surpassed Ethereum and Solana in revenue in 24 hours

Tron has surpassed Ethereum and Solana in terms of network revenue, according to decentralized finance data aggregator DeFiLlama.

On Tuesday, Tron (TRX) generated more than $1.4 million in revenue in the last 24 hours. In comparison, Ethereum, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency network by market capitalization, has raised about $844,276 in the same period.

DeFiLlama data also showed that Tron outperformed Solana (SOL) in this metric. The Solana chain earned $940,009 in 24 hours, which is higher than Ethereum and the recent leader, meme-coin-launcher Pump.fun. Chain data showed that Pump earned about $867,429 in the last 24 hours.

TRON's earnings over the past week

Similar to the last 24 hours, Tron has attracted more revenue over the last week compared to Ethereum and Solana.

Tron is ahead of Ethereum in terms of accumulated revenue over the last seven days with a total of $8.67 million. Meanwhile, Ethereum has recorded around $8.08 million to rank second and Solana is in third place with a total of $6.38 million.

While Tron has also shown remarkable revenue growth over the past 30 days, it has lagged behind Ethereum over the period. In a month that also saw the debut of Ethereum exchange-traded funds in the U.S., Ethereum's revenue rose to over $52.48 million.

The Tron network is in second place with 30-day revenue of $40.2 million, while Pump.fun has so far overtaken Solana with about $25.83 million in revenue.

Solana's revenue for the period totaled $23.59 million, which is well ahead of the likes of Lido, Uniswap and Maker, which had $8.82 million, $8.1 million and $7.32 million, respectively.

What's in store for Tron?

Tron's revenue growth comes amid a flurry of developments on the blockchain network aimed at driving ecosystem activity. Earlier this month, Tron founder, Justin Sun outlined plans for a gas-free stablecoin solution aimed at stimulating blockchain growth through free P2P transfers.

Sun said the new feature will launch in the fourth quarter. Tron also saw USDT stablecoin issuance on the platform surpass $60 billion, which San said makes it the first blockchain network to reach that milestone. $TRX $ETH
