According to multiple reports, three armed men robbed an Indian hacker named Ram in London, forcing him to transfer 1,112 ETH, valued at approximately $3.87 million, into their cryptocurrency wallets. The incident occurred on June 17, 2024, when the attackers wielded machetes during the robbery.The hacker, who had invested in Ethereum, was targeted in his own home. The Crypto Times and other news outlets reported the story, which has since gained attention on social media platforms like Reddit.While the investigation is ongoing, the hacker's post about the incident on his X account (@hiddentao) has been asked to be removed. The Times of India and News18 also reported on the case, noting that an unknown Indian hacker is being charged with the largest cyber heist in history for allegedly assisting a criminal gang in a previous hacking raid.
