How I got scammed - PLEASE READ AND BE CAREFUL Had about $600 in Bovada and decided to withdraw to my Eth wallet. I copied my Ethereum address from my exchange and emailed it to myself on my Iphone. In my web browser, I copy pasted the Eth address to Bovada and 15 minutes later it said complete. I didn't see it in my Eth wallet though (didnt thinking anything of it) and decided to go to bed. The next morning I still didnt see it and got worried. I checked the address I sent it to and it was a different Eth address. I panicked and asked myself how that was even possible. Turns out I have a malware on my laptop and when I copied my Eth address, it pastes as a completely different Eth address. Since the withdrawal was complete, im shit out of luck. $BTC @cryptoMOJ #SecurityDepositScams Let this be a lesson to all, ALWAYS double and triple check your crypto addresses when sending and receiving. I've done the deposit and withdrawl many times but was stupid and didnt bother to check the addresses this time. Paid $625 for a lesson in crytop. Going to take my laptop to a repair shop and fix it. If you guys have any words of encouragement for me I would greatly appreciate it#BTC #sol

⚠️Beware of P2P chargeback scam
Recently, P2P chargeback scams have occurred in Africa, especially in Kenya. Scammers buy crypto through P2P and then have an unrelated third party transfer the money through a bank (he may be unaware or an accomplice). After the seller receives the bank transfer information, he releases the crypto without confirming whether the P2P buyer's name is the same as the payee's name on the bank side. The third party then initiates a chargeback, resulting in the seller's funds being chargeback and causing losses.
To avoid such scam, you must learn to REFUSE third-party bank payments. As a P2P seller, please confirm that the buyer's name is consistent with the bank payee's name. As a P2P buyer, please strictly use your own bank card to pay.
Only in this way can P2P transactions become healthier and smoother.
