According to PANews, Galaxy Research Vice President Christine Kim summarized the 197th Ethereum Core Developers Execution (ACDE) call, which focused on discussing and coordinating changes to the Ethereum execution layer (EL). During ACDE #197, developers agreed to proceed with the Pectra upgrade on a limited scale, currently including eight Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) on Devnet 3. They also discussed the potential inclusion of a set of four EIPs related to the Ethereum blob fee market in the Pectra upgrade. While Vitalik Buterin supported increasing blob capacity in Pectra, other developers expressed opposition, and no final decision has been made. Other blob-related EIPs include EIP 7762 (increasing MIN_BASE_FEE_PER_BLOB_GAS), EIP 7623 (increasing call data cost), and EIP 7742 (separating blob count between CL and EL).

Regarding the scope of the next Ethereum hard fork, Beiko confirmed that the upgrade following Pectra will be named Fusaka and will include PeerDAS and EOF. Fusaka may incorporate additional EIPs, provided there is further progress in implementing these two EIPs. Lastly, Beiko announced the introduction of a new EIP for EL upgrades named 'Amsterdam,' which will continue the Verkle EIP initially considered for inclusion in the Osaka upgrade.
