According to Odaily, Icelandic sound simulation technology startup Treble has successfully raised €11 million in a Series A funding round. The round was led by KOMPAS VC, with participation from Frumtak Ventures, the European Investment Bank, and Omega Venture Partners. Treble plans to use the funds to expand its team, enhance research and development, and explore new enterprise clients and markets.

Treble's Chief Marketing Officer, Kristjan Einarsson, stated that the company will focus on the construction and technology industries while also expanding into the automotive, gaming, and metaverse sectors to bring immersive audio experiences to virtual environments. Founded in 2020, Treble specializes in sound simulation technology and has established the world's first cloud-based sound simulation platform for designing the sounds of buildings, automobiles, and technology products. Previously, Treble completed a $5.7 million seed funding round led by Frumtak Ventures.
