This index, which is a comprehensive measure of the cryptocurrency market, reflects the performance of 20 major digital assets across various platforms worldwide.
Among the assets in the CoinDesk 20 Index, only three showed positive movement. Leading the gains were Solana (SOL) with a 2.5% increase and Aptos (APT) rising by 0.8%. These assets managed to buck the overall downward trend, providing some positive momentum within the index.
Conversely, several assets faced significant declines. Stellar (XLM) and Chainlink (LINK) were among the most affected, with XLM dropping by 6.6% and LINK decreasing by 6.2%. These losses contributed to the overall negative performance of the index, highlighting the volatility and varied performance within the cryptocurrency market.
