The Nasdaq International Securities Exchange has proposed to the SEC the introduction of options trading for the iShares Ethereum Trust, a new fund managed by #BlackRock . This trust will exclusively hold Ethereum, stored with Coinbase, and cash managed by The Bank of New York Mellon. The trust will not participate in Ethereum’s proof-of-stake validation or generate staking income, positioning it as a passive investment vehicle. Nasdaq aims to broaden investment opportunities in Ethereum and enhance accessibility for cryptocurrency investments within traditional financial markets. The trust's shares provide an alternative way for investors to gain Ethereum exposure through the public securities market
