About Galxe (GAL)
Formerly known as Project Galaxy, Galxe manages and coordinates information associated with digital credentials, such as a record of borrowing from an online decentralized protocol to passport or license information, data related to debt & public records.
Launched on April 28, 2022, via Binance Launchpool, Galxe is a Web3 credential data network aimed at fostering collaboration and openness. It enables Web3 developers and projects to leverage credential data, enhancing product quality and community engagement, and offers tools for creating interoperable dApps while maintaining blockchain autonomy.
Galxe seeks to coordinate data across the Web3 environment to develop and support data management practices and products and services related to individual credentials within the ecosystem. The other end of the system allows developers to use the credential uploaded into the Galxe ecosystem application modules, Galxe Credential Oracle, and the Galxe Credential API to present applicable DApps that could benefit individual Galxe network users.
In 2023, Galxe introduced Galxe AI, an interactive assistant designed to help users navigate the complex world of Web3 projects. Partnering with AI developer Alva, Galxe integrated OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 turbo into their platform, enabling users to ask the chatbot questions about various projects and NFT collections supported by the network.
In 2024, Galxe will launch Gravity, a new Layer 1 blockchain designed to improve cross-chain interactions using zero-knowledge proofs. The alpha mainnet, utilizing the Arbitrum Nitro stack, is slated for June 2024, with a full mainnet release expected in Q2 2025.
The Galxe network native token $GAL is available as a BEP20, BNB Chain cryptocurrency, and ERC-20 network token, which are tradeable with other Binance and Ethereum network tokens. The current price of Project Galaxy is updated and available in real-time on Binance.
