I just saw a post talking about how we are always asking if To hold or Close a position instead of relying on our Stoploss.
This is very true but so challenging considering the fact that most times, your trade is already in green but you expect it to mature properly so that you don’t miss out on the big gains only to be disappointed and then your trade quickly enters the red zone.
Then you keep waiting maybe it will come back up soon. I didn’t take a +8 dollar profit why close a - 2 dollar trade. Until that - 2 turns to -8, -15…
I’m sure I’m not the only person this happens to. Let’s learn to trade with discipline and set some trading rules for ourselves so that 2025, we can minimize losses. Let’s win together!

I guess it so hard to close your trade in red no matter how small. Especially if you saw profits and refused to take hoping it will get bigger and then it drops to minus.
