According to U.Today, Nassim Nicholas Taleb, a renowned scholar, former option trader, and risk analyst, has revealed the title and theme of his forthcoming book. Taleb, who is known for his popular books such as 'Black Swan', 'Antifragile', and 'Skin in The Game', made the announcement on a social media platform.
The new book will be titled 'The Lydian Stone', a reference to a flint stone used by ancient civilizations to verify the quality of silver and gold. Taleb stated that the book will partly focus on 'how humans get confused by sequences', and will also explore the concepts of time and entropy.
Taleb, who was once a Bitcoin enthusiast, has since become a major critic of the cryptocurrency. He has previously expressed his dissatisfaction with Bitcoin's high volatility, arguing that a currency should not be more volatile than the items it is used to purchase. He also criticized Bitcoin's failure to function as a store of value. Given his frequent criticisms of Bitcoin, it is possible that the cryptocurrency could be a topic of discussion in his new book.
