Binance Aligning with Sunset: To ensure a smooth transition, Binance is gradually stopping deposit functionality for BEP2 tokens.
Timeline for Deposit Closure:
May 15th, 2024: Deposits for all BEP2 tokens will cease except for BEP2 Binance- pegged tokens (B-tokens). B-tokens are essentially Binance's wrapped versions of other cryptocurrencies.
June 2024: The BEP2 network sunset is expected to be complete by this time.
Impact on Users:
Existing BEP2 tokens deposited on Binance are not affected and can still be traded and withdrawn.
Users who want to deposit BEP2 tokens (excluding B-tokens) need to do so before May 15th, 2024.
