Essentially, the halving halves mining rewards
What to expect:
• Inflation rate halves
• BTC price may soar
• Mining farms adapt or switch to different coins
• BTC growth could spur a rise in alternative crypto
The Bitcoin Halving has made mining more competitive by reducing rewards to 3.125 BTC
Despite miners earning more, lower hash prices after the halving have affected their profits
The drop in transaction fees has added pressure on profitability
More miners are competing for rewards as the hashrate rises
Some miners are selling more BTC, with daily sales reaching a peak of 1.6K Bitcoin in late March.
As Bitcoin's ecosystem expands after the last halving, the upcoming one is set to have a big impact overall
