People rebalance periodically based on time horizon, risk tolerance, probabilities, and whether another asset may offer a better combination of those factors, and use the sum of that analysis for rebalancing decisions.
No point in looking back and saying “I shoulda” if a solid decision was made based on all of the information available at the time.
