⏳Give Your Trading Time

...the importance of patience in trading.🧘‍♀️

🌴Most young tree saplings spend their early decades of life under the shade of their mother's canopy, with limited sunlight. This means that they grow slowly, which in turn leads to dense, hard wood. But if you plant the same trees in an open field, they will gorge on sunlight and grow very fast. However, fast growth leads to soft, hairy wood that lacks time to densify and become hard and dense. Soft, hairy wood is a breeding ground for fungus and all kinds of diseases, ultimately leading to a short life.

As the saying goes, "A tree that grows quickly rots quickly." The same principle applies to trading. Making money early through beginner's luck as a new trader will cost you a lot in the long run.

A trader that makes huge money early on at the onset of their trading journey tends to lose more money than a trader that started with losses. When you're lucky, you tend to get cocky, and that's exactly like digging your own trading graveyard.

💰People who bought Bitcoin early in 2020 thought they were smart and made a lot of money when Bitcoin reached $50,000, only to sell and buy again at $68,000 due to greed and the fear of missing out , just to lose everything when it fell back to $19,000 in late 2022. People forget the element of luck in investing and just think they are smart.

Give yourself time to grow. Give your brain the time to soak it all in and learn the patterns. Give your trading strategy time to evolve into a silver bullet.

"You might well expect that a machine built in haste will fail quicker than one put together carefully and methodically." - unknown source, heard it somewhere.

What I am trying to say is, have patience with yourself and give your trading time. You'll be glad you did in the long run.
